When Scotland’s men’s team found themselves back on the biggest stage in football, Tennent’s Lager, Scotland’s national lager, who’d been a supporter of the national team for over 20 (painful) years, wanted to celebrate our return to the matches that mattered.Big time football, big time Lager, big time ideas.
THE SOLUTION
Coming out of the back of a global pandemic and ‘unprecedented times’, we created a campaign acknowledging the fact that no matter how the team performed, this tournament was a much-needed opportunity for 5 million of us in this country to celebrate and enjoy something.Everyone in Scotland had a reason to care that we were back. From the football itself, to just seeing pals and enjoying being part of something transportative and exciting, there were 5 million reasons to care.
