the challenge
How do you take a card from being a functional item to an extension of your brand world? We’d just repositioned the bank and wanted the brand platform of ‘elevated everyday moments’ to live in every touchpoint. Be gone with bright and bold coloured cards; we needed something authentic and unique to the bank’s new positioning.
the solution
We created a debit card that went against the grain. We developed a cool piece of plastic that customers could be proud of and one that gives them a dose of escapism every time they look at it. A postcard of Scotland, good looking enough to surprise existing customers and maybe even recruit a few new ones as well.
