THE BRIEF.

Suicide is an extremely challenging topic and one that many of us feel unable to speak about. However, it’s also a topic we need to speak about to help save lives.

United To Prevent Suicide wanted to find a way to talk to a wide, predominantly male,  audience, to give them the tools and confidence to start conversations about suicide.

It had to be authentic and delivered in a way the audience would engage with.

THE SOMETHING.

We looked to football as a safe space where many young men feel comfortable, as well as working with respected faces within that world.

We scripted, directed, and produced a series of films that spoke to viewers in the style of a dressing room team talk, offering advice in a straightforward and down-to-earth tone.

We showed how to speak to others if they were thinking about suicide themselves, or tips for how to approach the topic if they were worried that someone close to them was considering suicide.

It could be the most important team talk someone ever hears.
